Pretty Pearls

Project: Multi-dimentional necklace with artisan focal piece.

Learn how to use multiple strands to make a dynamic and beautiful necklace with a complex design. Beads of glass, metal, and pearl blend to make a unique look.

Tools are provided for student use for the duration of the workshop only.

Peyote Treasure Necklace

This class is great for expanding your creative brain. Students learn to create a non-traditional focal point using chain and charms over peyote stitched seed beads. The necklace is completed using complimentary lampwork beads, stones and metal and glass beads.

Kit includes chain and charms, seed beads, lampwork beads, stones, clasp and cones, string, needle and wire to finish the project.

Tools are provided for student use for the duration of the workshop only.

Introduction to Working with Wire

Excellent for beginners.

Project: Freeform wire bracelet with pearl or glass bead accents and pair of earrings.

Students are instructed on the proper use of tools, forging and forming wire, as well as linking and linking with decorative wrap. Original kit includes sterling silver and copper wire in 16, 18, 20, 22, and 24 gauges, sterling beads, glass or pearl beads.

Tools are provided for student use for the duration of the workshop only.

Introduction to Jewelry Design

Excellent for beginners

Project: Three strand necklace with focal piece
(Single strand design available)

Learn the fundamentals of constructing beaded jewelry. Students will study technique, and use of tools and materials. Students will also be instructed on the elements of design and the language of beading. Original kit includes focal bead or pendant, unit beads, sterling clasp and cones, 8/0 seed beads,and threads and wire to complete project.

OFFERED SATURDAY 2:00PM – 5:00PM, $85

Creative Designing with Wire

Project: Freeform wire linked necklace and watch.

Prerequisite: Introduction to Working with Wire or previous experience working with wire

Go beyond traditional linking. Practice forging and forming wire. Students learn techniques for manipulating wire to create original links. Original kit includes sterling silver and copper wire in 14, 16, 18, and 20 gauges; focal bead; glass beads; and watch face.

OFFERED SUNDAY 2:00PM – 5:00PM, $120

A Slice of Heaven

Excellent for all skill levels

Students will make a necklace featuring large, flat stone pieces or slices and a pendant or focal bead at the center. Stone beads will be accented with feathery groupings of seed beads and pearls, and the piece will be finished off with a matching artful clasp.
